About GMI

Sitting in Histology lab as a medical student, Eva Erdei decided to draw the cells, the nucleus, the Golgi Apparatus....Let’s be real, she was a bit bored and drawing helped pass time. Drawing came innately. But there was a higher reason, namely to help her study for the final exam. It started with Histology and continued with Anatomy, Biology and with the other medical classes. Her fellow students saw her art and asked her to submit them to the student body for publishing as an educational collection- booklet. This booklet would then be distributed to help other students study. Well, you’d think she would have done that, right? At that moment Eva realized the potential of her illustrations. She decided to hold off on sharing her drawings for free. Maybe there existed an opportunity there? That’s when the seed of it all began...

Our founder and CEO, Eva Erdei brings to the table a broad range of unique experience. She has worked for international organizations like the United Nations in Europe, for small medical device start-up companies as custom implant designer all the way to working as Art Director for a medical legal company. It is this unique and broad experience that gave birth to her vision to offer a platform where any visual problem can be tackled through a creative design solution, regardless of the field.
